Nutritional values of MRE packs

To ensure that you can maintain high performance levels, your energy needs to be sustained through the daily consumption of nutritious meals. Our meal plans are specifically designed to meet the physical needs of your body.

Crafted by experts, you can be sure that you will receive the right nutrients in the required quantities by using MRE packs. On average, an active adult requires about 3600 Kcal per day. Our ready-to-eat meals are made up of 50% carbohydrates, 12-15% proteins, and 25% fats.

Fiber

International ration packs can sometimes cause constipation due to a lack of fiber. To avoid this, we add digestive biscuits with a high fiber content in each pack.

The importance of protein

Essentially, your body uses protein to build and repair tissues. It also produces enzymes, hormones, and other chemical compounds. Food sources that contain protein include cheese, meat, and fish. Although it digests more slowly than carbohydrates, protein is a vital element for the body. In the case of injuries, protein helps repair tissues and prevent superficial wounds.

The importance of fats

Fats provide the highest amount of energy per gram, taking about 4-5 hours to digest. They are essential for nerve health and cellular functions. Cheese, nuts, and chocolate are good food sources of fats and are included in the rations.

The importance of carbohydrates

Carbohydrates provide an instant source of energy. Foods with a high glycemic index (GI), such as glucose-based sweets, sports drinks, or energy bars, release energy in about 30 minutes. Foods with a lower GI, like muesli or dried fruits, release energy more slowly, over about 2 hours. Foods that release energy more quickly are preferred by consumers.
