The food is prepared using a portable flameless heating kit. To use the kit, the chemical heating pad is placed inside the heating pouch along with the MRE (Meal Ready-to-Eat) pack. Approximately 150 ml of water is then added to the pouch.
When the heating pad comes into contact with the water, it undergoes an exothermic reaction, causing the liquid to heat up to near boiling point. As a result, the MRE pack is ready to eat in just a few minutes.
One of the key advantages of this kit is its ability to function effectively in extreme weather conditions, such as rain, wind, or cold temperatures.
